TRASA is a group of RAS Professionals dedicated to accessibility in all aspects of the physical experience for persons with disabilities. Thus, TRASA offers related education on a regular basis during the year which is open to members, as well as the public. 

 

Internet RAS CEU Training Available-

 

TRASA is pleased to announce internet based Continuing Education Training which is available for our members and colleagues. The training can be taken from the convenience of your computer.

The first four hour training session which was done in conjunction with TDLR is now available. Additional on-line classes will be released this fall.

All classes may not be AIA certified.  We will note when they are AIA certified. 
The discounted rate for TRASA members is $85.  The discount will be applied after submitting your RAS# at the time of payment.

Tips:

 

  • Our host system only accepts credit card payments
  • You will be required to answer security questions during the training, answer them promptly and accurately or you will be dropped from the class.  If you are dropped, log back in.
  • You may encounter quiz questions during the class so pay attention to the material
  • Course must be completed within 30 days

Members: To receive your TRASA discount you will need your RAS number (or TRASA membership number which should be your RAS number).  If your TRASA membership number (which can be found under the “Profile” tab) is different than your RAS number please notify scknox@sbcglobal.net of your RAS number so your profile can be updated.  NOTE:  Accurate input of your RAS number is critical to receiving CEU credit.

    1. Browse the catalog of courses
    2. Select the courses you wish to take “Add to Cart”
    3. Select “Click Here to Check Out”
    4. First time users select “Create New User Account”
    5. Complete required info and save log in and password info.
    6. Pay with credit card and be sure and ENTER RAS number and “Apply” for Member Discount
    7. Proceed to course.  You may start and stop the course as needed until it is completed
    8. Upon completion you will receive a Certificate for your records
    9. TRASA will be notified and will post your CEU hours which you can check on the TDLR website.
